The Crescent Management Office must be notified of all moves in order to set a date and time. All moving arrangements must be cleared by the Property Manager. All moves will be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. All moves are to be done on Fridays and must be handled through freight elevators.
The loading dock is the only permitted building entrance for moves. The clearance of the dock is 15’. Any exceptions for entering other areas of the building must be authorized by the Property Manager. If other areas of access are approved, the mover must protect floors and walls with acceptable material to prevent damage.
Prior to the move, the moving contractor and customer must provide the management office with a current Certificate of Insurance. For a summary of the insurance requirements, please contact the management office. The moving contractor will be responsible for any damage to the building incurred during the move. The moving contactor is also responsible for removing all trash and packing cartons. The Fire Marshall prohibits the blocking of any fire corridors, exit doors, elevators, lobbies or hallways. No parking is allowed in the fire lanes. Reference “Moving Procedures” form at the end of the handbook.
